On Sunday, March 30 at 3 pm, Otsego 2000 executive director Ellen Pope and former executive director Martha Frey will be featured in the Friends of the Village Library of Cooperstown Sunday Speaker Series.
The Glimmerglass Historic District is marking the 25th anniversary of its establishment. The 15,000-acre cultural landscape encompasses parts of the Towns of Otsego, Springfield, and Middlefield, as well as the Village of Cooperstown.
Learn why Otsego 2000 pursued the Glimmerglass Historic District nomination (today, one of the largest nationally designated cultural landscape districts in New York), and the role historic districts play in economic development and environmental protection.
The program will be held in the Ballroom on the third floor of the Village Hall, 22 Main Street, Cooperstown. The program is free and open to the public.
