WELCOME KARRIE LARSSON, NEW MARKET MANAGER

Welcome Karrie Larsson, our new Cooperstown Farmers’ Market Manager!

Karrie and her partner moved to the area from Brooklyn a couple years ago in search of a new path closer to nature. In the city, she had been teaching and managing a busy yoga studio and before that, working for an international publishing start-up. Since moving here, she has been working in the kitchen at Origins Café regularly, using produce and goods from the Cooperstown Farmers Market farmers and makers. Running to the market was always a highlight of her week and she feels like she got to see firsthand the market’s positive impact on farmers, consumers, and the community. As the new Market Manager, she is looking forward to expanding this work, supporting our agriculture and artisans and bringing a beautiful variety of fresh local food to the community.
